Cultivating Space for Racial Dialogues
Overview
Participants will explore their privileges and biases to increase their personal awareness, they will examine their communication style and learn tools to improve their cross-racial communication, and participants will expand their ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts.
In this course, Casey will share foundational information all facilitators need to know. They walk participants through creating the environment for conversations, common forms of resistance and share strategies to interrupt them, share tools for facilitating racial dialogues, and share resources to deepen individual lens and utilize when supporting others on their Anti-Racist journey.
