A survivor and relentless advocate engaging folks in dialogue that ignites action for progress.

Hello! This is my story.

Fatima M. Smith is a survivor, relentless advocate, “social mom-trepreneur,” and founder of FMS Speaks, LLC. She established FMS Speaks as a way to share her passion for anti-violence work, racial justice, and engage folks in dialogue that ignites action for progress. She has built a career on providing advocacy and education of interpersonal violence prevention.

As a social worker, her experience has largely centered on the paradigm shift within the community, first responders, Title IX, and law enforcement to “Start by Believing” and utilizing a solution focused, trauma-informed & healing centered response with a racial justice lens.

5 Ways to Create Consent Culture in Your Household

As a parent, survivor, and educator, I collaborate with parents who are seeking ways to create consent culture in their households. In this workshop, we explore five ways and explore how to utilize these methods in other areas of your child’s life.
